"Wow, this place from the very arrival to leaving you made us feel like we were family (even hugs when leaving). Heidi and Micheal are absolute super stars , you guys rock, next visit I'm sure we can sit and share a bottle of Wine. The apartment and facilities are first class, we cant wait to come back and use the outdoor kitchen. We loved the horses and even Mr Chaz was enjoying himself. We stayed at the Mayfair for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay! The staff were friendly and polite and the room was comfortable. Having drinks at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to enjoy the evening. Not to mention, the location was fantastic and conveniently located across from Rundle St Mall. I would have given 5 stars for everything if not for the slightly aged room. For example, all USB charging sockets in the room were broken. And teh layout was slightly odd, e.g. power outlets were in far corners and the room phone was tucked away in a corner almost behind the cupboard. I suppose that’s also because its a heritage building converted into a hotel. Also, another little inconvenience is that there isn’t a proper driveway/drop-off point at the hotel and you need to get off/on at the loading zone along the street, but when the loading zone is full (which was often), it’s really difficult to load/unload your luggage.
